Its been an eternity since Polyphony’s Gran Turismo 4 was released on the PS2, so long that just like GNR’s Chinese Democracy some thought it would never be released. Its now looking like driving freaks will finally get their fix with the series’ first iteration on the PlayStation3 in HD this March. As with all GT releases, one of the big questions is what iconic car will be on the cover. Sony just released the cover art featuring the Mercedes SLS AMG as the cover model. For those who don’t know, the Gran Tourismo series is THE staple in driving simulators. GT5 will have over 950 cars, over 20 courses, 70 variations, the newest hybrid cars and electric cars.
